LAPATICedal 250 contains lapatinib, a tyrosine kinase inhibitor that targets EGFR/ErbB1 and HER2/ErbB2 signaling pathways. Each film-coated tablet contains 250 mg of lapatinib and each bottle contains 70 tablets with a package leaflet.
Indications
- HER2-positive advanced or metastatic breast cancer, in combination with capecitabine, in patients previously treated with anthracycline, taxane and trastuzumab-based therapy.
- HER2-positive metastatic breast cancer in postmenopausal women, in combination with letrozole, when hormonal therapy is appropriate.
Important Use Information
The source information states a usual daily dose of 1,250 mg with capecitabine or 1,500 mg with letrozole. Take lapatinib at least one hour before or one hour after food and avoid grapefruit products during treatment. Use only under the supervision of a healthcare professional.
